Many years ago, when I was only 20 years old, I travelled around the world for a year. Ironically, I travelled through India and Kashmir, long before Gopal was even born. Nevertheless, my world travels at that age instilled in me a strong understanding of the interconnectedness of nations. Therefore, I can consciously, and comfortably, bridge a business between India and the US. And with great excitement!

Gopal Dafadar
For centuries, Gopal Dafadar family has been farming BLACK TIGER SHRIMP.
In the year 2014, he graduated with 1st rank from Mumbai University. He is an intelligent professional who works hard. Since childhood he has been excelling in both academic and extra curricular activity. This determination has helped him to succeed in business as well. Mr Gopal believes that it is only through hard work that one can achieve his goals.
During a business conversation Gopal, proudly mentioned that he had an uncle who organically eco-farmed BLACK TIGER SHRIMP. He told me it was an international delicacy, craved on tables all over the earth. Then he told me how much hard work goes into its farming. Suddenly, we both had the same thought, we need to discuss how to work together so that we could help his uncle sell his product outside India, then how to increase his capacity, then expand to other small suppliers and help them increase their sales as well. Thus, supporting our expansion to other parts of the world.
Conveniently, Gopal works and manages shrimp farming in India, watching over production, packing, and shipping. While I will be in the US making sure deliveries arrive on time and in good condition.
It is a good feeling to do something that can help change the world, even if it’s just a tiny little bit. You know what they say, “dreamers change the world”, and this is our dream.
Our Advantages
As shrimp lovers, we all know that BLACK TIGER SHRIMP are a one of a kind. They have a delicious flavour, a fantastic appearance, and they are often naturally farmed. Naturally farmed, means that the tigers are produced in large ponds, at very low densities, and with no, or with little, commercial feed or other inputs such as antibiotics.
During the various stages of maturation of the little tigers we monitor them with equipment designed to enhance their healthy growth. We use this to weed out problems before they can take hold. Various tests are performed, to better understand the presence of antibiotics, total plate count, coliforms, chlorination, testing of sulphites, moisture testing, water-ice-product testing and much more. The sustainable, organic products we offer, from our consortium of environmentally responsible, integrated producers and exporters, is a shelf stable quality aquaculture product.
